Whistler

As Whistler begins to move away from "rip-rap" retaining walls, our natural rock concrete walls have found favor with the municipality. Structurally sound and beautifully matched to the surrounding environment, the walls are a strong marriage of form and function. Our artists have been working in teh area for 20 years and have a special talent for matching the rusty granite found throughout the valley. In 2009, our team built a 10 foot high by 300 foot long retaining wall at the Lindsay Residence at Nester's. Planting pockets were built throughout the wall, which both retains the fractured soil and provides privacy from nearby neighbours. Our walls can be found in several of Whistler's neighbourhoods. Most recently, two of our walls in Brio saved homes from nature's harsh erosive forces - one replacing a deteriorating shale deck footing, another diverting cascading water away from a foundation into a waterfall feature.
